moorage committee and the
race and rules committee is
under the guiding light of
Colman Hall. Roger Lowe is
the fleet measurer.
The next meeting will be
held February 9, at 9:00 p.m.
at the Jim Horn's residence,
6507 S. E. 61st. Place, Mercer
Island, 232-2347. All those
interested in attending should

This meetir.g will include a
general discussion of various
techniques in C-Lark sailing.
For the summer race series
a junior program will be
included and dads will be
permitted to act as crew
members. Brad Horn was
appointed chairman of the
junior race commAttee.
The spring series will start
Sunday, March 21, with races
at 2:00 p.m. Races will also be
held March 28 and April 4.
The fleet will hold a Spring
Tune-up Regatta April 18, with
races to start promptly at 2:00
p.m. The races will start at the
Jarvis' dock and Jim
Martinsen will serve as
regatta chairman. There will
be a charge of I .00 for pre-
registration and entries who
register on the race day will
be charged 83.00
The race fees will be used to
cover the cost of trophies and
other expenses in connection
with the race.

treasurer, Peter D. Jarvis at

offered on Mercer Island
beginning February 3 and 4.
Sessions are for three weeks
and will be taught by Anne
Hawkins. Registration will
open January 7 at the open
membership meeting of the
Mercer Island Visual Arts
League at the Royal Fork at 7
p.m.
Both morning and evening
classes will be available. The
$15 class fee includes all
materials, instruction, design,
resource material and knots.
